Dr. Swati Kumari works as an Assistant Professor with Jain (Deemed to be) University, Bangalore. Before, she was associated with Amity University Rajasthan. She has more than 13 years of teaching and Research experience. Besides her Ph.D. from St Xavier’s College, Ranchi University Jharkhand, she has completed her PGCTE and PGDTE at EFLU, Hyderabad. She has published many research papers in different pieces of literature around the world. She has co-edited two books on Ecocriticism titled Literary Culture across the World: Ecocritical Studies and Ecological Imagination and Gender Studies and one book on War literature. Besides teaching and publishing, she has supervised PhD scholars who are working on English language teaching and Linguistics. She has supervised 4 scholars and three are exploring different fields of Literature and Language studies. Outside of her professional experience, she leisurely pursues her interest in being a budding writer. She has published a few short stories on life’s learning particularly women’s life and poems on critical crisis in different magazines.
